Overview: 

Pure Imagination Labs’ Associate Interactive Producer supports task tracking, sprint planning, and documentation workflows for interactive content. Coordinates asset handoffs, playtesting, and QA support across mission systems, logic design, and UI/UX. Manages calendars, review cycles, and vendor communication for deliverables. Maintains project documentation across Jira, Miro, Google Drive, and related tools.

Responsibilities: 

  • Track and maintain task lists across interactive pipelines, ensuring clear ownership, timelines, and status visibility across teams.
  • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and milestone coordination in collaboration with cross-functional contributors.
  • Coordinate asset handoffs, file tracking, and documentation reviews for interactive content—including logic systems, UI/UX components, and real-time media.
  • Assist with QA planning, internal playtests, and scenario validation, document bugs, edge cases, and revision notes.
  • Help manage calendar alignment, review cycles, and dependency tracking across simulation logic, mission systems, and interface elements.
  • Support communication and delivery tracking with vendors or contractors contributing to interactive content.
  • Organize and archive references, technical specs, and creative documents across platforms such as Jira, Miro, Google Drive, and ShotGrid.
  • Participate in creative and production reviews; capture action items and ensure follow-through across stakeholders.
  • Contribute to planning and coordination of linear media elements (e.g., motion graphics, pre-rendered video, background loops) as needed to support experience delivery.
  • Support overall production workflows for interactive system implementation and media readiness across physical-digital deployments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school required.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of production experience in interactive media, simulation, games, or real-time experiences.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience working in tools such as Jira, ShotGrid, Confluence, Miro, or similar task and asset management systems.
  • Solid expertise in game or simulation production pipelines, including milestone planning, QA, and documentation workflows.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments with evolving requirements.
  • Proficiency in supporting a wide range of tasks in both early design and late-stage delivery cycles.

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Proven ability to support task coordination, content reviews, and delivery tracking across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine and its role in gameplay logic, UI/UX integration, or scene management.
  • Expertise in understanding of media playback systems, version control, or asset tracking across screen-based and projection-based delivery systems.
  • Experience working with linear media workflows (e.g., narrative video, motion graphics, media encoding, or editorial review).
  • Proven ability in supporting content deployment in physical installations or location-based environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

 

o Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

o Required Residence: This candidate must live or reside in the state of Kansas; or relocate within six (6) months of offered employment.

o Required Travel: This candidate is required to travel up to 15% for specific project installations.

 

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), medical leave, and a variety of other perks. A bonus and incentive plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, dependent on the level and position offered.

Salary: 

$90,000 annually (bonus eligible)
